  • Illini Caravan

    Illini Caravan came to Sterling on May 16 to speak with our students about digging deeper and identifying themselves through goal setting and hard work. Students spoke with CeCe Marizu (swimmer), Justin Staples (football), and Men's Basketball coach John Gross. Students asked great questions like how much do you study! What are teachers like in college and what do you eat?

  • Peoria Animal Welfare Shelter - Contest Winners

    5th grade students won first through fourth places in essay contest My Pet is Amazing. Students were invited to read their essays and accept their prizes with their pets. Congratulations!

  • Cinco De Mayo!

    To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we had a celebration where students learned of costumes and dances. This culminated a month of daily questions to increase our kids awareness--such as what is the currency of Mexico and when does Mexico celebrate its independence?
