 The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a comprehensive approach to teaching and learning that focuses on the development of the whole child. With an international focus, it addresses the academic, social, physical, emotional and cultural needs of students. Elements of the program include a student profile, specific attitudes, a concept driven curriculum and the understanding that socially responsible actions are an integral part of the learning process.

Guided by a series of questions, students and teacher develop units for exploration and study creating a dynamic and energizing learning environment. It combines the best research and practices from a range of national systems with a wealth of knowledge and experience from international schools around the world.

The curriculum framework incorporates concepts, skill, attitudes, actions and knowledge.

These elements are extensions of 3 inter-related questions:

How will we know that we have learned?
