    As a team building activity, AVID students designed and carved pumpkins. AVID courses are designed to create a culture in which the students become more and more self reliant and accountable to each other through weekly team building.

    On October 14th, the PSA held its annual Fall Performance showcase. The talents of over 200 PHs students were on display with performances by Orchestra, Band, Chamber Choir, Mixed Ensemble Dance Troupes and Drama.

    On Saturday, October 11, the PHS Senior and Junior Pride Team and Senior Avid Class volunteered at the Peoria Park District Howl-Zoo-Ween to make a memorable night for many Peoria youth.
