  • Volunteers needed for Comcast Cares Days

    The Peoria Public Schools is teaming up with Comcast and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Peoria to put some sparkle and shine on the neighborhood surrounding Peoria High School, The Pride of the City. During Comcast Cares Days, Tuesday, April 26, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 30, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., volunteers will be cleaning, trimming trees, repairing fences and performing other beautification projects on the areas surrounding Peoria High School, Peoria High School North and the Peoria High School Athletic Complex.

  • PHS Students participate in mock trial

    On Tuesday, April 12th, Peoria High students participated in a mock trial as part of the “Classroom to Courtroom” presented by the Federal Bar Association to introduce students to court procedures and the day-to-day operation of the court system.   • Graduation

    The Peoria High Class of 2016 Commencement will take place the Renaissance Coliseum on Bradley University campus on Saturday, May 21st. The ceremony begins at 10:00 AM. Students are asked to be at the venue by 9:00 AM. Rehearsal is on Friday, May 20th. Click "read full story" for the times of rehearsal.

  • All City MSPA Festival

    Peoria High School will be hosting the All City Middle School Performing Arts Festival on Wednesday, April 13th. Selected middle school students from all PSD 150 schools will be participating in a large group rehearsal with a guest conductor, small group sectionals, and a final performance in the afternoon. Dance students will perform in the auditorium at 12:00 PM. Band, orchestra, and choir, students will perform at 12:45 PM in the Richmond Street Gym.

  • PEORIA AREA: 2016 ASM MATERIALS ENGINEERING CAMP

    This summer, the Peoria ASM/AFS chapter will again be offering an exciting opportunity to high school juniors and seniors! The ASM Society Materials Engineering Camp is a week-long day camp wherein students can participate in hands-on learning opportunities in math, physics and chemistry, as well as science-based problem solving experiences under the direction of a faculty "materials mentor".
