  • Teachers become the students

    On Wednesday, September 24, PHS teaacher became the students as the were given even deeper instruction in AVID strategies. Each teacher went through 3 stations designed to give them more strategies to use in the classroom.

  • New Excused Absence Policy 2014 -2015

    Beginning with the 2014 – 2015 school year, District 150 is requiring a written note from a parent/guardian when a student is absent. It must be received in the office within 48 hours of the absence. If it is not received in the office, the student will be marked unexcused. You may call the office on the day of the absence to let us know your child will not be here, followed by a note when the student returns. Emails are also accepted as a written note. Emails should be sent to KIM.CANNON@PSD150.ORG and/or your student’s counselor or assistant principal. After 10 am, all students arriving to school will need to be accompanied by an adult or have a Doctor’s note to sign in for the day.

  • District 150 prepares for a new year

    All District 150 teachers met at Bradley's Renaissance Coliseum on Thursday, August 14th to kick of the new year. Many awards were given including the Customer Service and Moral Award that went to Peoria High. Click on headline above for the PJStar article on the event.

  • Parents and Guardians: If you bring your child to school in the morning, please drop them off at the Atrium doors in the back parking lot. Please do not drop them off on North Street as that interferes with the buses.
