  • Pride Teams Volunteers at the Zoo

    On Saturday, October 11, the PHS Senior and Junior Pride Team and Senior Avid Class volunteered at the Peoria Park District Howl-Zoo-Ween to make a memorable night for many Peoria youth.

  • Orchestra Audition Master Class

    On Friday, October 03, 2014, Peoria High Graduate, Maria Winget returned to the PHS stage to present an audition master class for the varsity orchestra. Ms. Winget is a former member of the PHS orchestra and professional musician who is traveling next week to audition for Houston Symphony.

  • Teachers become the students

    On Wednesday, September 24, PHS teaacher became the students as the were given even deeper instruction in AVID strategies. Each teacher went through 3 stations designed to give them more strategies to use in the classroom.

  • New Excused Absence Policy 2014 -2015

    Beginning with the 2014 – 2015 school year, District 150 is requiring a written note from a parent/guardian when a student is absent. It must be received in the office within 48 hours of the absence. If it is not received in the office, the student will be marked unexcused. You may call the office on the day of the absence to let us know your child will not be here, followed by a note when the student returns. Emails are also accepted as a written note. Emails should be sent to KIM.CANNON@PSD150.ORG and/or your student’s counselor or assistant principal. After 10 am, all students arriving to school will need to be accompanied by an adult or have a Doctor’s note to sign in for the day.
